Laura Burger, OTR/L, CHT graduated from Towson University with a degree in occupational therapy in 2003. Since then Laura has been assisting individuals in being as independent as possible in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. Laura’s specialization is treating injuries to the upper extremity and fabricating custom splints. In 2009 she was awarded a hand therapy fellowship at the world-renowned Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Laura went on to successfully pass the hand therapy certification exam in 2011, and opened her own hand therapy practice in Hawaii. After relocating to Virginia Laura joined Me Hand Therapy and cultivates close relationships with referring surgeons to optimize patient outcomes.
